Margaret Nubuor
Founder + Principal Designer

An architecture graduate turned interior designer, I bring eight years of experience in residential renovations and interior design. Having led residential projects ranging from $2m-$15m and spanning multiple locations including Boston, Cape Cod, NYC, and Maine. I take pride in client coordination, project management, and custom design, particularly in kitchens and bath renovations. With a knack for custom millwork, carpentry, and occasional watercolor painting, I infuse each project with creativity and attention to detail.

You can usually find me walking my dog, Jasper, through the streets of Beacon Hill.

Design Principles

My design values and principles guide everything I do. I work with a deep respect for my clients, their home, and their way of life. I take the time to understand their lifestyle, preferences, and needs for their home to ensure each design element truly reflects who they are and how they live. These extend beyond a single project as I believe in building lasting relationships with my clients.

My goal is to make design accessible through clear communication and straightforward processes. By sharing my expertise openly, my clients are empowered to make informed decisions with confidence. Armed with my years of experience and attention to detail, we carefully balance aesthetic preferences, budget considerations, and project requirements to achieve their ideal home.

The top three things my clients describe me as:

  • Organized

  • Trustworthy

  • Personable

My Style

Approaching each interior as a unique canvas, I draw inspiration from the existing architecture to craft its design story. My designs are rooted in contemporary principles carefully customized to reflect my clients’ individual lifestyles, ensuring every room develops its own distinct character. My comprehensive design process combines functionality with innovative design solutions to deliver bespoke interiors.

My aesthetic emphasizes enduring design elements whether they be hyper contemporary, or as classic as they come. I prioritize creating balanced, harmonious spaces that transcend fleeting trends, focusing instead on aligning the interior design with practical needs and a desired atmosphere. This helps me source from vendors and artisans far and wide for bespoke furnishings, or vintage must-haves.
